Assisted Living in Hahira & Valdosta, GA

Private suites, unhurried help with daily living, and 24/7 caregivers — in a real home, not a hallway.

At The Orchard at Stone Creek, assisted living happens inside a house. Six residential homes sit on a 72-acre working pecan orchard just north of Valdosta, and each home is shared by only 16 neighbors. That scale is the whole point: caregivers learn your loved one's routine, their preferences, and their name — and they keep them. They wake up in a private suite with their own bath and their own furniture, and spend their days in rooms that feel like home rather than a facility.

Help that fits the person

Assisted living is for older adults who want their independence but need a hand with some of the day. Our caregivers are on site around the clock and help with the everyday things that make life easier and safer:

  • Bathing, dressing, and grooming, offered with dignity and privacy
  • Medication management on a posted, consistent schedule
  • Mobility and getting around the home and grounds
  • Housekeeping, laundry, and fresh linens
  • Chef-prepared meals in a shared dining room, with a posted weekly menu
  • Transportation to appointments and errands

Physician-directed quality oversight

What sets our care apart is how it is watched over. Our Director of Resident Care Quality is a physician who directs safety monitoring, staff training, and daily quality rounds across all our homes, and makes sure families hear from us the same day anything changes. Residents keep their own doctors — the physician here directs the quality of the care around them, so nothing slips through the cracks.

A day at The Orchard

Mornings start with breakfast in the kitchen and a look at the day's posted activity calendar. There is an art studio, a library, a chapel, and a salon; there are courtyards and shaded walking paths through the orchard; and there is always a caregiver nearby. Families are welcome any time during visiting hours, and because each home is small, visits feel like dropping by — not signing in at a front desk.
